JACK VICAIN - PORTFOLIO
PROFILE
I'm a fifth-year architecture student at the University of Arizona, working at the intersection of human systems and natural landscapes.
Urban development doesn't have to come at the environment's expense, that's the belief that drives my work. I'm interested in architecture as a tool for rethinking how cities grow, how communities are housed, and how built environments can exist in genuine harmony with the ecosystems around them.
My design thesis is simple but ambitious: human activity is not inherently destructive. With intentional, rigorous design, we can reshape the relationship between people and land, building cities that don't just minimize harm, but actively contribute to the places they inhabit.
